Angela Evelyn Bassett (born April 15 1960) is an American actress. Angela Evelyn Bassett is an American actor. Bassett was raised in New York New York and raised by an aunt living in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Her mother split with her father at approximately five. Bassett and her younger sister then moved to St. Petersburg Florida with their mother. Bassett saw James Earl Jones in John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men play while she was still in high school, and realised that acting is what she would like to be doing. Yale University New Haven Connecticut gave her a bachelor's degree (1980) with a focus on African American study, and a graduate degree (1983) in the Yale School of Drama. While at Yale she met Courtney B. Vance a actress who was a friend of hers. They married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. the Yale School of Drama granted an M.A. in Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Bassett back in the year 1980. She attended the institutions that she attended: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for seventh graders, Azalea Middle School for 8th & 9th grades as well as Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett plays Ramonda as one of the principal parts in the action film i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
