Andrea Corr

Andrea Jane Corr MBE is an Irish musician, singer and actress. Corr together her fellow members Caroline Sharon and Jim, began their career as The Corrs' lead singer in the year 1990. Andrea Corr was born in Ireland. She is a singer, songwriter, musician, and actor. She has been awarded the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire award and is well known as a member of the Celtic rock and pop group The Corrs. She sings and plays a variety of instruments in the group. Andrea is a singer who began her career acting professionally in the year 1991, then grew into an actor and stage artist. Singer for the playback in 1998's Warner Bros. animation film The Quest for Camelot. Andrea's six studio albums are complete with two compilation albums, three live albums and a remix album. Her work was recognized with a grant from the charity. Andrea is married to her stockbroker boyfriend and has two children. Andrea began her lessons in music through learning how to play the Tin whistle. Gerry taught her how to play the piano. Andrea is also a ukulele player. Her teenage years were spent improving her musicianship techniques. She teamed up with her sisters and brothers to become the singer for the group. Andrea attended 'Dun Lughaidh Convent as a child and frequently participated in school plays.
